New Ski Holiday Inspired Christmas Gift Range Launched

It may still be August but many of us are already thinking about ski holidays and Christmas so boutique London brand Powderhound have perhaps got their timing right in launched a new range of Christmas baubles hand decorated with skier motifs.

Designed by British artist Natasha Durlacher the baubles are made from fine bone china and available in four designs featuring skiers, mountain huts, wintery walkers and ski tourers.

Founded by Natasha and her husband Tim Hall, Powderhound makes bespoke, sophisticated homeware and clothing for skiers and mountain lovers. As well as the new range of Christmas baubles, the company has an extensive range of Christmas gifts available this year from mugs and tea towels to candles and tableware. All are hand decorated in a range of Natasha’s evocative designs born out of years spent skiing and photographing life in the mountains.

“I’ve spent many years skiing and wanted to turn my memories of alpine expeditions into contemporary designs that would remind people of their mountain adventures — and what better time of year to dive into Alpine memories than at Christmas,” says Natasha, whose career in fine art, design and photography has been driven by the desire to capture visual memories and moments in time. “My vision with Powderhound has been to create fun but also luxurious and sophisticated mountain homeware, as well as art and après-ski clothing.”

The exquisite 5cm Christmas baubles are available as singles or as a gift set of four, in Powderhound’s Ski Touring, Joie De Vie, Marker and Hut Skiing designs — all inspired by Alpine scenery. They cost £16 each, with a red hanging ribbon and gift box, or £60 for a set.

Powderhound is also launching a range of blank greeting cards featuring ten different designs, printed on carbon balance paper in association with World Land Trust. The cards, priced at £10 for a set of five designs.

Founded in 2018, Powderhound is a family business with a passion to preserve the mountains and our global environment. All Powderhound products are responsibly and, where possible, locally sourced and the fine bone china tableware is hand decorated and fired in Stoke on Trent.

The baubles, cards, tableware and clothing are available online at powderhound.london with select collections in stores worldwide including Paris (Le Bon Marché) , Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Verbier, Zermatt, Andermatt, Aspen (Gorsuch), Vail, Park City, Beaver Creek, Stowe and Niseko.
